§ 26-482. Findings.

  • (a)

    F.S. § 163.3202(2)(c) and (d) requires that local governments adopt land development regulations that provide for drainage and stormwater management within one year after submission of their revised comprehensive plans.

    (b)

    Local land development regulations shall contain specific and detailed provisions necessary or desirable to implement the adopted comprehensive plan.

    (c)

    The town commission finds that stormwater runoff from development has the potential for disrupting the hydrologic and biologic integrity of receiving waters.

    (d)

    The town commission held public hearings on May 8, 1991, and June 5, 1991, and accepted public comment, made revisions and found the ordinance codified in this article to be consistent with and further the intent of the Beverly Beach Comprehensive Plan 2000.
