§ 1.02. Municipal Jurisdiction, Powers and Privileges.

  • The Town of Beverly Beach, Florida, as hereby constituted, shall have perpetual succession, may sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, contract and be contracted with, may purchase, lease, receive, and hold property, real and personal, within or without the territorial limits of the Town of Beverly Beach, for any public purpose, and may sell, lease or otherwise dispose of said property to the same extent as natural persons may, as allowed by Florida law. Said Town may have a Town Seal, and said Town shall have and exercise all powers which under the Constitution and Laws of the State of Florida exercisable by a municipal corporation of said State of Florida.
